Central Illinois Invite
Although there are many impressive athletes on the boys side, the girls side is just as amazing. Starting with sprinters, the first big name is Sophia Shapiro of Edwardsville, who has already run some quick times in the 200 and 400 and has the #9-ranked 400 time in Illinois this season. Another notable name is Rayna Raglin from Alton, who is ranked #3 in the 60m and #1 in the 200m this season across all classes. Aswell, Nina Brown of Champaign Centennial is another strong contender at this meet and is already ranked #5 in the 200m and has run a very quick time in the 60m this season. Two more notable athletes include Reese Hoene from Effingham St. Anthony and Rege Cooper Smith of North Chicago, who have both run some very impressive times this season and will hopefully have even better times this weekend. Moving on to the distance events, there are a few notable names like Aubrey Denning of Effingham St. Anthony and Elayna Harker of Taylorville who have both run some impressive times in the 800 and 1600 this season and could shoot for the win this weekend. Along with these girls, Molly Farell and Madeleine Fox, who are both from Marshall, have both run some very impressive times last season and are looking like they can have a good shot to win the 1600 or 800. Last but not least, the field has some very impressive jumpers and throwers with some notable names like Joi Story and Jayla Gathing, who are both from Edwardsville. Story is one of the top shot putters this season, and Jayla is ranked #13 this season in Illinois. Claudia Ifft of Bloomington is looking like the favorite for the pole vault, she is already ranked #7 in Illinois and got 5th at the 3A State meet last year. Jillian Schlittler from Tolono Unity is looking like the favorite due to her top 20-ranked mark in Illinois this season and her state title from two years ago. With many big names and impressive athletes at the Central Illinois HS Invitational, it is looking like a good meet to look out for because there may be many personal bests on both the girls' and boys' sides of the meet.
Coach DiDomenico Invite
Batavia is set to host some elite sprint competition this Friday. Max Smith of Minooka had a great opening race last week with a 6.91 in the 60. He will be met by Jordan Ademuyiwa of Glenbard West, who will give him a run for his money in the 200. Ademuyiwa’s PR of 22.03 was run on a banked track, so it should still be a close race between Ademuyiwa and Smith. Ben Schoettle of Glenbard West is the big favorite in the 60mH. His PR of 7.92 is IL #3, he will likely grab a huge win here.
The distance side has guys who can throw down a statement race. Ed Polaski of Batavia had a great sophomore track campaign, he will make any race competitive. Matt King of Glenbard West has the fastest 3200 PR in the field, he could certainly grab a win in that event. If he goes up against Polaski in the mile, it’ll be a much harder task than in the 2 mile. Gavin Smith of Kaneland is a mid-distance specialist, he could shake things up in the 800 for sure.
In the field, Gavin Pecor of Batavia is set to rock the shot put. His PR of 61’ 5” is way ahead of the competition, he should snag an easy win here. Cooper Bowman of Minooka is expected to take down the pole vault. The 15 foot vaulter leads the rest of the field by over a foot, he should be more than good for a win here.
HF Boys ABC Invite
The Homewood-Flossmoor Boys ABC meet should be packed with action. Homewood-Flossmoor teammates, Joaquin Jordan and Myles Ellis, will face off against Daniel Robinson of Neuqua Valley, which should lead to an exciting match up. Ellis has been dominant in the short sprints to start the season, with a huge 60 PR of 6.84. He was IL #1 for two weeks before Robinson joined him at IL #1 with a huge 6.84 from the Clash at the Colosseum invite. Jordan hosts some strong PRs of his own, with a 6.92 from early indoor and a 21.58 from last year outdoors. These three athletes should smother the short sprints with their talent. As we move up closer to the 400, Brian Jackson of OPRF becomes more lethal. Jackson has a season best of 49.08 from the AAU Northern Indoor National meet, he would be the favorite for that event. On the distance side, we should see the Neuqua Valley superstars take home a win. Jesse Gudauskas had an incredible race last year at Clash, with a mark of 9:15 in the 3200. Neuqua’s other distance titan is Greyson Meek, who is more specialized in the mid distance. He will be running the 3200m in this one. Bennet Matthys of Homewood Flossmoor has been on a hot streak lately, he just dropped a huge 800 PR of 1:58.85 at the Batavia open meet. The field events should be pretty exciting, with top tier talent all around. Addis Wilson of OPRF is the big favorite in the high jump after his performance last week. Wilson hit a humongous 6’ 9” at Proviso West, which puts him at IL #2. His PR is far ahead of this field, he should pick up an easy ten points here. Anthony Edison and William Bundy of HF are the top two triple jumpers in the field. Edison hit a huge PR of 46’ 10” last week, which put him at IL #2. Bundy is a returning all-stater who is extremely consistent at 45 feet. Both athletes will be lethal in this event, it should lead to some exciting marks.
Stan Reddel Invite
The stars will be out at the Stan Reddel Invitational at York High School. There should be lots of great races on the distance side of things. Alex Krieg of Palatine is the top returnee in the 3200 and he will be the favorite in his debut of the event this season. Looking to challenge him will be Samuel Hill of St. Charles North who’s coming off a breakout season in cross country where he placed 9th at the 3A State meet. At the last rendition of this meet, Thomas Jochum of Glenbard South took an incredible win in the 1600 and he will look to repeat that this year. Patrick Hill of York and Luke Robinson of Prospect will be on the outside looking to try to challenge for a win. In the mid-distance events it will be Samuel Wollak of St. Charles East gunning for a win.
For the sprints the Hononegah boys Chase Cutler and Coen Lee will try to look down their events. Cutler and Lee both won their respective events in 60 and the 60 hurdles in their opening meet and will look to build off their success Friday. Their biggest threat will be Micah Pickett of Hoffman Estates who won both the 55 and the 400, running 6.53 and 51.65 respectively last Tuesday at the York Quad Meet. Finally, the best relay to look out for is the Naperville North 4x400 who clocked a IL #5 3:28.79 3 weeks ago at the North Central College Boys Indoor Invitational.
The shot put field will be headlined by Cooper Kowalczyk of St. Charles North who tossed a tremendous 60’4” which gave him the win last weekend at the Huntley Invitational and an IL #4 mark. Shea Lewis of Prospect will do his best to keep up as he comes in with a personal best of 57’0.25” which is good for 15th best in Illinois this year. Otis Powell of Willowbrook has only jumped once this season, but he still comes in as the favorite after jumping 6’4” in his first meet last week. Kyle Quaid Bowman of Glenbrook South will be the heavy favorite in the pole vault after jumping an incredible 4.63m at the Greg Foster Invitational a few weeks ago. Finally, Arman Lepuzanovic of Rolling Meadows will fight for a win in the long jump as he comes in with a 23’6.25” season best.
Saturday
Central Illinois Invite
This is a huge invite being hosted at the Eastern Illinois University indoor track, and over seventy teams are going, with plenty of notable talent across all events for both boys and girls. Starting off with the boys' sprinters, there are many notable names. Ian Pianfetti of Olney and Kai Veric Bratton from Centralia are both top returners in 2A for the 100 and 200, and both did very well in their sectionals last season. Some other runners include Marlin Jeffries of North Chicago, who is a strong returner who medaled at 2A state last year in the 200. Reid Carlen of Cumberland is also another strong returner who has made appearances in the 100 and 200 at the 1A State meet last year. Another top 1A runner is Evan Landers-Kristensen from Gibson City, and he has put up some impressive times last year in both the 200 and 400 last year at the state meet. Moving on to the distance boys, we have many big names in this field with Quaid Berger of Olney and Liam Bettis from Taylorville both being XC all staters this season. Both of these runners have already put up fast times this season, with Quaid running a 4:22 1600 and Liam already running a 4:15 full mile. Some more notable names are Colin Thomas of Edwardsville, who ran at state last year for the 800 but also ran the #9 time for 3200 in Illinois this season of 9:21. A few other runners that may be very competitive in the 1600 and 3200 are Landon Harris from Granite City as well as Will Fuson of Cerro Gordo-Bement, who will hopefully run a strong season opener. All of the boys running events are looking very quick and will hopefully have many impressive times, but so is the field side of this meet with lots of impressive athletes. Starting off with the high jump, the most notable names at this meet are Isaac Rennecker of Petersburg PORTA, Will Nohren and Karson Bruns from Shelbyville, and Gavin Root of Olney. Gavin Root is already ranked #5 in Illinois and medaled last year in High Jump at the 2A State Meet. Along with Gavin is Isaac Rennecker, who has already jumped 6’6” and is ranked #9 in Illinois and got 3rd at the 1A State Meet last year. One of the most impressive jumpers at this meet is Will Nohren, who is already ranked #1 in Illinois with a mark of 7’0.25” and is last year's 1A State champion. He is the big favorite, as he’s ranked US #6 in the high jump right now. Along with these Jumpers Karson Bruns can make a strong showing as he is ranked #13 in Illinois this season and got 4th last year at the 1A State meet. Two other impressive field event athletes are Parker Owens of Edwardsville and Gavyn Cothern of Olney. Owens is ranked #4 in pole vault in Illinois this season, and took 3rd at the 3A State Meet last year. Cothern has jumped the #20 mark in long jump in Illinois this season and medaled at the 2A State Meet last year. Finally, there are two notable Shotputters in Gavin Stukenberg from Edwardsville, who is also ranked #5 in Illinois this season and was a state qualifier last year. Finally, Shane Box from Collinsville, who is ranked #7 in Illinois for shot put this season and also medaled at state for discus last year.
Coach Basting Invite
With the Coach Basting invitational just around the corner, let's meet some of the highlighted athletes competing this Saturday. From Chatham Glenwood we see Colton Ladage, a star sprinter hoping to run some blazing times. He has already run 6.89 in the 60m and 22.74 in the 200m. Chatham Glenwood is also entering their 4x200 team who has already ran 1:32.58 and is coming in hot to the Coach Basting invite. We expect to see even faster times from Ladage as he will be competing in the 200m with two star sprinters both out of Springfield: Deandre Brown and Mekhi Newman. Both athletes seem to specialize in races over 100m, as Brown has already run 48.95 in the 400 and 22.60 in the 200; with Newman coming off a super impressive outdoor season (48.77 and 21.85) looking to open his indoor season this Saturday.
The distance crew at this meet is also super talented and we get to see a rematch of Clash from this past weekend. Thomas Czerwinski and Aidan Connors both out of Plainfield North were the 3rd and 5th place finishers in the Clash mile, 4:23.11 and 4:25.62, with Czerwinski taking the slight edge. And in the 800m we see Ben Gorsage out of Washington with a blazing time of 1:54.36 this indoor season and it's more than likely he will go sub-1:55 once more to take home the first place finish.
The field is what really takes the cake here as Bloomington Central Catholic is entering one of the best pole vaulters in the country and last year's 1A state champion, Isaiah Whitaker. We have yet to see the best from him this indoor, but he is coming off one of the most electric 2025 seasons of the year with an 18 '1 PB and is looking to break that very soon. McKenzie Doe and Larry Wills both from Chatham Glenwood are headed into this meet knowing they will fire each other up as they will be battling in the high jump. Doe has reached 6’8 and won Clash high jump and Wills isn’t far off with a 6’6 PR. Wills' most electrifying event is his long jump as he already smashed 22’ indoor 2026 and is headed for 23+ feet as its within jumps reach.
SIU Invite
Almost the entirety of southern Illinois will come together at SIU to throw down some of the fastest times of the weekend. On the boys side, it’s very distance heavy, with Raphael Greer and Gabriel Greer of Marion both being the headlining names. The Greers are entered in the 1600 where they will face off against Quaid Berger of Olney and Luke Smith of Waterloo. Both Berger and Smith will be doubling back for this race, but we should see fast times all around. Berger will be running the 3200 before his 1600, where he is the big favorite. He ran 9:23 as a freshman and just capped off a great sophomore season on the grass, he should drop a blistering time in that event. Smith is coming off of a similar freshman campaign, where he was runner up in the 800 with a time of 1:54. He was all-state during cross country, he should be able to capture a win here. Civic Memorial has stacked their 4x8 with Tulio Zampieri, Max Weber, Glenn Collins, and Logan Kearby. It is likely that this squad takes a new IL #1, as they are easily capable of running sub 8:05. In the field, we’ll see Mascoutah dominate with Robert Williams and Camren Reed. Williams is the top seed in the pole vault after his terrific 15’ 2” from last week. Reed is the top seed in the long jump after his highly productive junior year, his PR of 23’ 2” is more than good for a win in this field.
On the girls side, we could see an explosive matchup in the 60 that will likely rewrite the rankings for next week. Sophia Schardan of Triad will be opening her season and she’ll be facing off against none other than Rayna Raglin of Alton. Raglin has had an amazing start to her season, where she dethroned Mariyah Robinson of Homewood to run 7.53 at the Worrill Invite. However, Schardan is coming off of a legendary outdoor season where she ran a blistering 11.62 in the 100. Schardan’s PR of 7.54 is extremely close to Raglin’s, so this should make for an amazing race. Behind these two behemoths, you’ll see Belleville East’s squad of Cassidy Willis and Lyric Jones. Willis has a nasty PR of 7.65 and Jones is right behind with a 7.80. Both girls should put up some great times in this event, but Jones will come back for the 400 and try to show off in her main event. Jones was unreal as a freshman, taking 5th at the 3A state meet with a time of 55.41. This will be her first 400 of the season, she should put up something crazy. The top relay of the day will be Belleville East’s 4x4, who could very easily be the first team under 4 minutes. The relay card for the Lancers is their top lineup, with Lyric Jones, Kamryn Durrah, Gabrielle Peppers and Lailah Moody. Durrah and Peppers were both members of the 4x4 that took 3rd at the 3A state meet last year, which means they both have the capability to split under a minute. Even if Moody is way off her game, Belleville East should still be way ahead of the competition. In the field, two elite athletes will headline the shot put and high jump, that’s Emma Skeate of Marion and Amaryllis Miles of Murphysboro. Skeate has thrown a gigantic 41’ 3” so far this season and she is expected to win by over a meter. Miles is coming off of a huge outdoor season where she jumped 5’ 7”, she would have to break her legs to lose this competition.
Illinois Meet of Champions
The Meet of Champions will host some elite talents at the Gately Park track this weekend, we will see several state leads be thrown down on the banked track. Sundara Weber of Sandwich is set to run the mile for the first time this season, and she has an elite field around her to push her towards a great time. Last spring, she set the 2A state meet record in the 1600 with an 4:41. She is the overwhelming favorite in this event and she should put up something crazy this weekend. Joining her will be Emily Stecky of Depaul. Stecky is known for the 800, but she’s still broken the 5 minute barrier before. Stecky will have a solid pack around her, with Sydney Gertsen of Montini and Erin Hinsdale of Wheaton St. Francis. Gertsen is coming off of an incredible cross country season, with a 2A state title under her belt. Hinsdale was 2:13 in the 800 last season and 5:01 in the mile, her PRs put her well in range of Stecky in this race. With a front runner like Weber in the field, we should see a really fast race with several sub 5s. But it’s not just the mile that’s got a loaded field, the 800 will feature some of the best mid-distance runners in the state. Klarke Goranson of Manteno is the top seed in that event, with her 2:11 PR. Keira Jenke of Benet Academy will follow her closely, she ran 2:12 last year. After these two, you’ll see a big pack of girls run in the high 2:10s. Kate Murray of Chicago Payton has had the best indoor season so far, she should lead this group. Rose Cosme of Marist ran 2:15 last year and could surprise in her season opener. Francesca Mora of Latin will look to continue off of her great freshman season with a solid season opener here. All three of these athletes have a shot at beating their PR, we should see some fast times here. In the field events, the big name to watch will be Maeve Bonadker of Fenwick. She threw a solid 39’ 6” at the Sullivan invite, she is expected to take a huge win here.
The boys section of Meet of Champions has some promising talent that could put up some great marks. Braylen Anderson of Dekalb is the top sprinter in the field. His PR in the 200 of 21.52 puts him far ahead of everyone, the only athlete in range would be Myles Lyons of New Trier. Lyons is geared towards the 400, but he’ll be stepping down to run the 200 on the bank. His PR of 22.00 is certainly solid, but he’ll need a big day if he wants to be in view of Anderson. The distance field features an elite 800 runner in Tramonti Williams of Chicago Payton, he will likely let it rip this weekend. His 800 PR of 1:53.72 is the best mark in the field by 5 whole seconds, he should get an easy win there. Where it gets difficult for Williams is the elite mile, where he’ll see some of the best milers in the state converge on Gately park. His teammate, Declan Slavin of Payton, is one of the top seeds with his 4:15 PR from last spring. Bryce Counihan of Lincoln Way Central is another runner to watch, he’s having an electric indoor season so far. Andrew Straley of Brother Rice ran 4:20 by himself last week, you could see him walk away with a big PR here. And you can’t forget the top sophomore miler, Micah Weiss of Chicago Latin. Weiss was out with an injury for most of the cross country season, he’ll be looking for a strong opener to his second year. Zachary Van Wyk of Chicago Christian will be the top athlete in the field events. Van Wyk is one of the top returning high jumpers in 2A this year, with a PR of 6’ 5.5” from last spring. He is seeded almost half a foot over the rest of the competition, he should take down an easy win here.
Boys Raptor Invite
The Raptor invite will host some amazing talent this week, we should see some great times all around. In the sprints, we’ll see Oreoluwa Sobodu of Dundee Crown dominate the short sprints. Sobodu just recently dropped a steaming 6.86, which would be more than good if he were to run the 60 here. If he chooses to run the 200, he should get away with a win there. In the 400, Zaven Johnson of Lincoln Way West and Henry Faber of Metea Valley become the front runners. Johnson opened up his season in a 50.56 last week on a flat 200, he’ll be a prime competitor if he chooses to race the 400 this week. Faber is a sub 50 second 400 runner from last season, he will look to take down a win here. In the hurdles, we’ll see Amauree Williams of Southland Charter as the big favorite. Williams has a blazing PR of 8.09, he’ll be way ahead of everyone in the 60mH. The 800 could very well be the top event at this meet, with names like Hunter Spee of Lincoln Way West and Nathaniel Gabriel of Joliet Central. Gabriel has the top PR in the field with his 1:54 from last season, but Spee has the better season best of 1:56. Spee has looked very strong as of late, Gabriel will have to put up a pretty solid performance if he wants to squeak out a win here. We should see an exciting triple jump, with Chikere Anyamale of Southland Charter and Andre Samuel of Rich Township. Samuel has the better PR, with his 45’ 7” from last week. However, Anyamale can jump in the 45s, as he did his junior year with a mark of 45’ 5”. Anyamale will need to get back to his PR if he wants to win, it should make for a great competition.
EMPOWERHER Invite
The EmpowerHER Clash invite at Lakes High School looks to add some action from the Northern Chicago Suburbs to the long list of meets this weekend. Expect to see quality performances on all levels. On the distance side, the biggest race of the day will likely be the 800. This race looks to be a battle between Kylie Simpson of Hononegah and Polina Krupsky of Lake Zurich. These 800m all-staters come in with seed times of 2:18.01 and 2:18.88 respectively, and it should be exciting to see how they push each other. Celia Blaylock of Lake Zurich could also make some noise, coming in with a 2:22.30 seed. In the 1600, it will be a battle between teammates, as Lake Zurich freshmen Abigail Kocher and Chloe Wettstein are seeded at 5:19 and 5:24. With the successes both of these girls had in cross country, the 5:15 barrier is certainly at risk here. On the sprints side, Abigail Fuesting of Antioch looks to sweep the 60m and 200m, with a PB of 7.78 in the 60m and 25.62 in the 200m. Her biggest challenges will likely come from Victoria Osei of Mundelein and Makayla Williams of Lake Villa. Osei brings another sub-8 seed time with a 7.94, and Williams could challenge with her 26.24 200m seed time. For field events, Arisa Bisofa of Lake Zurich looks to dominate the shot-put field with her 11.93m seed. The sophomore already has two all-state titles to her name, including a first-place discus finish, and she is heavily favored for the shot win. The high jump will also be a battle, this time between Jordan Dimke of Hononegah and Rylie Mazzacano of Crystal Lake Central, coming in with seeds of 1.72m and 1.62m. EmpowerHER should bring some great competition from some of the state’s top returners and newcomers alike.
FTTF Charger Boys Invite
The FTTF Charger Boys Invite takes us down for some solid high school talent at a University level facility at The Armory. The sprint field specifically is going to result in crazy results in the 60m and 200m races. Athletes like Belleville East’s Daylin Donaldson and Jaylen Dewalt, Cahokia’s Jayden McCallum, and Danville’s D’Mario Jackson. All of these athletes run really low 7s to high 6s in the 60m, while running around 21-22s 200m’s as well. But, the spotlight is specifically lit on one sprinter. Morquez Bulliner of Belleville West is looking to be the star of the sprint shows, as his impressive marks of 6.85 and 21.56 in the 60m and 200m respectively are at the top of the simulations this week. On the hurdle side, Oswego’s Jezhian Sprinkle will seem to be put up against Mt. Vernon’s Keaton Koch for an epic 60m hurdle showdown. DIstance will primarily be dominated by Aj Ince of Normal Community with his dominant 800m and 1600m performances, as well as Colin Thomas of Edwardsville throwing down a blazing 3200m previously this year. A possible 1600m showdown can occur between these two very talented athletes. On the topic of Edwardsville, their star pole vaulter Parker Owens is seemingly going to dominate his event once again this meet. Belleville West’s Braden Missy is the favorite for Long Jump with his leap of 23’ 6”. However, Triple will be a battle between Belleville West’s Kameron Daniel and Victreze Thomas of Cahokia. Thomas not only scores points for his outstanding triple, he also works alongside his teammates the 4x200m, which Cahokia usually comes out on top for. Also, the crosstown rivals of Belleville East and Belleville West will be battling it out across many of the relays. The battle at the Armory this weekend will be one of the best this season thus far.
Auburn Girls Showcase
The Auburn Girls Showcase is loaded with fiery talent and to kick it all off in the distance section we have headlining athlete, Mia Sirois, of Barrington running the 3200. Just this past weekend she ran a breathtaking 10:13.64 to not only win the Batavia Girls Invite, but to become the #3 overall US runner in that event! Victoria Tarara out of Barrington, ran the IL #5 3200 at the Batavia Invite in a blazing 10:56.73. And the final Barrington distance Athlete is Madison Miles who will be entering the field for the 1600m. She has run 5:18.15 in the event so far and when pushed with the right competition, she may just have herself a key into the top 25 mark in the state!
The sprinting side of this meet is more than evenly matched to say the least with the four major 60ms all within 3 tenths of a second of each other! Ta’Leiah McElroy of Freeport currently is the leader of the meet with a bolting 7.89 60m which should come away with gold if she plays her cards right. Next up is Zariah Burnett from Rockford, who is primarily a jumper, with a 7.97 and she is looking to come away with the upset against McElroy which might just happen once matched against Ta’Niah McElroy of Freeport. Ta’Niah is currently in her indoor season with an 8.08 but a PR of 7.83 from last year’s indoor season. But with the right people around her, Ta’Niah may be able to beat her teammate and big-time competitor. Hope Klosowicz of Johnsburg will not be far behind with her current indoor season record of 8.11 in the 60m as she looks to better her record this Saturday. Last but not least, we can’t leave out Lana McKendree from Barrington. She won the 200m at Batavia’s invite last week and come out a new #23 200 runner in the state, as just a freshman!
The field events may not be the distance, but they more than stand out. The number-one long jumper in the state, Zariah Burnett of Rockford, is one of many that make this meet shine. Her 19 '0 mark currently leads all of Illinois and there’s a good chance of a springy PR this Saturday as she will be competing against someone not far behind her. Allison Stibal, also out of Rockford is currently the number-four jumper in the state and is coming in hot with a shot at improving to second, just behind Burnett. The pole vault may not be the main event people come here to see, but with Alexis Lally of Bartlett you can’t miss it. Lally is also the number-four athlete in Illinois for her respective event. The talent at this meet more than lives up to expectations.
York Girls Invite
Another girls meet centering on Chicago-suburbs action, the York Girls Invite will bring a lot of distance-heavy action through a wide variety of events. Some of the headliners include Graceleen Mabry of Hersey, Macy Ermitage of Downers Grove North, Meg Peterson of Prospect, Sophia Galiano-Sanchez and Karlin Janowski of York. While the events these girls are running are currently unknown, there is sure to be quality competition regardless. Peterson will likely contest the 800m and 600m fresh off an IL #1 time of 2:15 from Batavia. Ermitage is coming off a strong 11:04 opening race at the Batavia Invite, so she will probably drop down to the mile this week. Galiano-Sanchez and Janowski have already contested a variety of events this season, so it will be interesting to see where they end up. Janowski is fresh off a 10:39 3200 at Batavia, and has run a 2:21 800 and 5:11 1600 as well. Galiano-Sanchez has already run 60 seconds in the 400 and 2:17.5 in the 800. The distance scene will be the main focus of this meet, but that doesn’t take away from the strong times we could see in the jumps and sprints. Sophia Cotroneo is on an absolute terror in the jumps, coming off four straight triple jump titles and a PB of 39’ 3.25’’ from the Stevenson Girls Invite. Her long jump PB is equally impressive, a 17’ 8.75” leap from the Homewood-Floosmoor ABC Invite. She will likely take both of these titles. In the sprints, Jillian Booth has taken the 200m title in all of the York home meets so far this season, and she will likely repeat this on Saturday. She will probably run the 55m and 200m, so expect her to add 2 more wins to her indoor resume.
