Coming up here in a few weeks is the Elmhurst Track and Field End Of Summer Twilight! You can signup via athletic.net and should do so!
Entries:
1. All entries must be completed online at athletic.net
2. Entry Fee is $20 per athlete, up to 4 events
3. Deadline is Monday July 21st, 11:59 PM
4. Entries are unlimited for all events Admission : Free for all spectators
Facility: The track is an 6 lane, 400 meter all weather surface. Up to ¼ pyramid spikes only,
Location: Elmhurst University - Langhorst Field
Timing: Palatine Pack will be on site timing the event
Equipment: Starting blocks will be provided
Team Camps: Team camps will be located on the infield or in the stands. No tents will be allowed.
Warm-up areas: Athletes may warm-up on the Turf Football Field or on the backstretch when no oval events are contested. There will be brief warm-up periods before each events.
Event Schedule: We will start at 5:30pm All track events will run in the “flow of meet” rather than a set time schedule. With open registration, we do not know until the day of the meet how many registrants and heats there will be.
Track Schedule:
• 100 meter dash
• 1600 meter run
• 200 meter dash
• 400 meter dash
• 800 meter Run
Age Groups: Athletes will compete at the grade level they just finished in school. For example, if an athlete just finished 8th grade, they will compete at the middle school level.
Middle School: Grades 6 - 8
High School: Grades 9 - 12
Open Division: post-high school
