Ranked Roundup: 2026 Cross Country Week 1

With the 2026 cross country season officially underway, the first full week of competition brings plenty of opportunities for Illinois’ top-ranked teams and individuals to make an early statement. From the opening meets of the season to several high-profile invitationals across the state, runners from nearly every corner of the rankings will toe the line this week.
