2026 Pre-Season Track & Field Previews: Girls 100H

The Illinois high school track season has featured outstanding performances in the hurdles, and the Top 10 ranked girls in the 100-meter hurdles across Classes 1A through 3A represent the premier talent in the state. Requiring a precise blend of speed, technique, and rhythm, this event has produced thrilling races and consistently fast times throughout the season. From explosive starters to technically polished finishers, each athlete on this list has earned her ranking through consistency and success against elite competition. Together, they showcase the depth, skill, and excitement of girls hurdling across Illinois high school track and field.


These rankings are based on multiple factors including PRs, consistency, state placement, and national placement. Only data from the 2025 Track & Field season are used in these rankings. No performances from cross country or 2026 has been included.
