We are now only 3 weeks away from the Illinois Youth Club XC Championships from taking place. With such a short season for kids that ends early into the fall, it leaves many looking to continue their seasons which they can do so by signing up for Palatine Pack, North Shore Pack, or Plainfield Pack  or by signing up to be part of the Illinois Youth Club XC Championships. This past weekend featured both the IESA and SIJHSAA State Meets. The IESA races a two-mile course, while the SIJHSAA competes over a 3K distance. But what if we combined the results from both meets into one? By converting the 3K times to two-mile equivalents using a performance calculator, we’ll see how the top athletes truly stack up against each other in this special merged leaderboard.
