
The Midwest Youth Indoor Championships is a brand new meet to the docket at Gately looking to provide terrific opportunities to athletes that are looking to make a statement at the end of their indoor campaign. The mission is simple, get the best of the best from the midwest to converge on this meet. There is only a certain amount of spots in each event. You can view the meet information here! Spike Policy: The only acceptable spikes allowed on the Track & Field Center track surface are no longer than 1/4 inch pyramid spikes. No pin and needle spikes allowed. Athletes Entry Fee: All athletes accepted into the meet will be charged the $12/event entry fee online on Athletic.net after the entry deadline of MARCH 24th has passed. Athletic.net asks for you to supply a card before entering your athletes for that reason.
Qualifying Standards: There is a set field size in each event, and the only top marks in each event sufficient to fill the field size will be admitted. The accepted entries list will be announce March 24th once entries have closed. Just because you enter your athlete in an event, does not grant them a spot in the meet. Please reference the QUALIFYING STANDARDS for how many athletes qualify in each event.
Seeding: ONLY verifiable FAT seeds from the 2024 and 2025 seasons will be accepted. Estimates on what an athlete is capable of will not be accepted. Handtimes will also not be accepted. All seeds will be verified before accepting entries to ensure that the procress of accepting athletes is fair and neutral.
Facility Information
All competing athletes and spectators must enter through The Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center’s main entrance. Athletes will not be admitted on the competitive floor unless they are scheduled for their event within 45 minutes.
ATHLETES
Packets will be available for pickup as athletes enter the arena. Each packet will have:- A bib with pins- Schedule of Events- Maps of the facility for locations of designated restrooms, exit and entry point
Restrooms and hand sanitizer are available throughout the facility. Running Event Information- Athletes will wear their bibs on the front of their tops.- Warm-ups may take place on the North and West ends of the arena. You may go back outside to warm up along the park area on the East side of the facility. Please have your bib # on prior to going outside - that will be your ticket to get back in the building.- Clerking for all running events will be done on the Northeast side of the arena.- All athletes should not enter the clerking area until a call is made for their event. Only one (1) call to check-in will occur fifteen (15) minutes before their scheduled event. Athletes will enter the clerking area from the assigned warm-up area and will line up by heat in the clerking area. ATHLETES NEED TO COME RACE READY.
- Because all events will be seeded prior to competition, every athlete should know their heat andlane assignment.- All running events will be FAT timed.- No outside starting blocks will be allowed into the facility.- Hurdle markings and heights will be used - 30” for girls, 33” for boys.
- Absolutely NO spitting, nose blowing or other similar action will be permitted in any capacityexcept in restrooms and garbage cans within the facility.
- Only competing athletes are allowed on the floor. Competitors will exit the track immediately after their race and proceed to the stands or near the designated warm-up areas.
Field Event Information- Check-in is required at the event site for all field events. 4 attempts- Implements will be weighed during check in. Weigh-in for Throwing Events will take place 1hr prior to the start of the event: 8:30am for Shot Put.- Athletes must bring their own implements.
MIXED RELAYS
MIXED RELAYS must have an equal number of boys and girls. The age divisions may vary for each leg of the relay. For example: 11-12 Boy-13-14 Girl-13-14 Boy-9-10 Girl

This meet is a championship meet with the mission of bringing the best of the best together. In order to do that, this meet will be only accepting a certain amount of entries in each event. Just entering your athlete in the entries does not guarantee them a spot in the event. The accepted entries list will be announced after entries have closed on March 24th. Seeds will be verified after the entry deadline to insure that only FAT marks from the 2024 and 2025 season are used. Estimates will not be accepted, as well as handtimed marks. This is to ensure fairness in accepting entries. The following top amount of entries will be accepted in each age group per gender.
