
Every year there are key athletes that for multiple reasons move to different high schools. Some of those names are key potential state meet scoring athletes. Josiah Brown (Sr.)
Champaign (Judah Christian) -> Champaign (Centennial)

Brown adds to a very talented Centennial team that could surprise many with this big transfer. Brown has unfortunately been unable to stay healthy over the past two years at Judah Christian. Hopefully his luck takes a positive turn at a school that produced a triple crown winner not long ago.
Mariyah Robinson (Jr.)
Chicago (Simeon) -> Homewood-Flossmoor

There has been rumors swirling about the status of Robinson for weeks. Robinson is one of the top sprinters in the state is in fact enrolled at Homewood-Flossmoor. Pending IHSA transfer eligibility approval, this is a major addition for one of the best teams in the state.
Dionte Shaw (Sr.)
Moline -> West Aurora

DT - 181'7"
Shaw has had quiet a ride throughout his high school career. He started off as a freshman at West Aurora, then as a sophomore moved to Mesa Arizona, then as a junior moved to Moline, and now as a senior he is back at West Aurora. He is one of the states top throwers and is a big addition to the Blackhawks in their race to a state trophy.
Omar Mims (Sr.)
O'Fallon -> Cahokia

Mims is the most high profile boys transfer in the state as he was the 3A State Champion last spring in the 200m. The Toledo Football recruit joins one of the states most decorated Track & Field programs over the last 20+ years.
Mikhail Bolden (Sr.)
Bolingbrook -> Plainfield East

Bolden has some impressive times as a junior and will be looking to have an even better senior year. The former Raider could emerge into one of the states premier sprinters this year and will for sure help boost the Bengals sprint relays.
Akeelan Dowell (Sr.)
O'Fallon -> Cahokia
100m - 11.02
200m - 22.65
Another transfer from O'Fallon to Cahokia, Dowell actually attended Junior High in the Cahokia district. He returns for his senior year after three years at O'Fallon. He will be one of the top short sprinters in the 2A class and will be a big addition to Cahokia's sprint relays.
Zion Young (So.)
Decatur (St. Teresa) -> Maroa-Forsyth
SP - 39'9.75"
DT - 102'6"
The All-American Shot Putter has moved schools after her freshman year as she now attends Maroa-Forsyth. Young was 3rd in the state as a freshman for the shot put and will be a big point obtainer for this team.
